Today, the Choice State and National Management teams provide the hands-on support you need to operate and thrive in today’s dynamic mortgage and financial services environment.

The Choice National and State teams, provide specialised support which includes –

  • Partnership Management – your own local Partnership manager to support you in managing and growing your business.
  • Risk & Compliance Management – in an industry of evolving regulation, it is essential you are kept informed of changes so that your business is protected.  Choice has the support of a specialist Risk & Compliance team to ensure you have the most up to date and accurate information of industry regulatory requirements.
  • Commercial Manager – there are many opportunities in the commercial segment.  Choice has a specialist Commercial Manager to assist with deal scenarios and lender selection.

Stephen Moore

Chief Executive Officer

Stephen is a Financial Services professional having over 20 years experience in leadership roles across distribution, product, operations and strategy, uniquely within both wealth management and banking.  Companies include ING where he was responsible for life insurance operations, MLC where he ran the Group Insurance business, and then General Manager for Platform Development and the start-up of UBank which is now international recognised as a leading direct bank.  Stephen was integrally involved in NAB's acquisition of the Advantedge group of businesses from Challenger and established Advantedge Financial Solutions including the new Buy / Sell facility plus the innovative loan protection solution.  Stephen was appointed CEO of Choice in December 2010.

  

Garry Dowd

National Business Support & Development Manager

Garry has been with Choice for over 5 years in Senior Compliance and Operations roles. Prior long term experience with ANZ Bank in multiple roles including Chief Operating Officer (ANZ Vanuatu), IT and Operations Management as well as leading implementation of new banking systems into International sites. Holds qualifications in Banking and Finance, Accounting and Project Management as well as a Finance Brokers Licence in WA.

Dennis D'Angelo

National Commercial & Sales Manager

Dennis has over 10 years experience in the SME sales lending environment with ANZ, ING and Bankwest.  In October 2005 he joined Choice to assist  Members diversify into the commercial market.  Prior to joining CAS, Dennis occupied the role of District Manager – Small Business in Bankwest for 3 years.

Brett Foster

WA State Manager

Brett has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry working in both the Mortgage and Financial Planning  markets. He primarily worked in the 3rd party market for the past 5 years helping businesses with diversification and business development opportunities. Brett joined Choice in the role of WA State Manager in 2008.

 

Jeannette Rowland

NSW / ACT State Manager

Jeannette has over 15 years experience working with brokers and has been with Choice for over 5 years. This experience has given me the insight to see what a broker needs which is superior services and someone who wants to partner them in their business.

Scott Anderson

QLD State Manager

Scott has over 20 years experience in the banking and finance industry which provides him with the knowledge and skills to work in partnership with members. This experience assists Scott in providing superior personalised service and support for achieving long term growth of each members business with emphasis placed on providing day-to-day business management assistance.

 

Sean Reid

VIC / TAS State Manager

Sean has over 20 years experience in the banking and finance industry spending the last 8 years of his career working with mortgage brokers. He has had various roles with lenders in the broker channel ranging from BDM for major & niche lenders to State & National Roles. Sean joined Choice in 2007 as National New Business Manager and was appointed State Manager for VIC / TAS in October 2008.

Paul McMellon

SA / NT State Manager

Paul has over 27 years experience in the banking and finance industry and is a qualified accountant.  He has held various roles with Australian and international banks in commercial and corporate lending.  Paul has been involved in the broker channel since 1992 both as a broker, and later with Choice, having taken over the SA/NT State Manager role in 2005.
