Choice brokers shine at Better Business Awards
It’s been a momentous month for Choice, with brokers from all across our network winning big at the 2018 Better Business Awards.
Ten Choice brokers and offices took out awards at the state-based events held across five major states between 15 February and 15 March.
At the New South Wales event, one of our newest brokers Alex Veljanovski of Eventus Financial stole the show, taking out two awards – Best Newcomer as well as the coveted Broker of the Year.
Zippy Financial was also a double winner, taking out the award for Best Community Engagement Program, while Zippy’s Louisa Sanghere also won the Rising Star award.
Other NSW winners included Justin Doobov of Intelligent Finance, who won Best Finance Broker and Bayside Residential Mortgages, led by Kevin Wheatley, who won Best Independent Office (less than 5 brokers).
In South Australia, Directional Finance won Best Regional Office, while Weng Wong was awarded Best Finance Broker.
In Queensland Andrea Kerr of the The Finance Studio was awarded The Adviser's Editor’s Choice award, while Diversifi took out Best Community Engagement Program for Western Australia.
The wins continued in Victoria, with Vikram Kataria of the Loan Studio awarded Best Newcomer and Mark Fulgueras of The Financiers Group awarded Best Loan Adminstrator. Loan Studio also took out the award for Best Independent Office (more than 5 brokers).
Commenting on the result, Choice CEO Stephen Moore said he was incredibly proud of all winners and finalists.
“There is a lot of great work taking place throughout the Choice network and I’m thrilled to see this being recognised.
“I know there a lot of quiet achievers throughout our network as well and this does not go unnoticed.
“As our industry continues to grow and mature, our brokers are focusing on business strategies and quality processes that are not only seeing them excel, but which are delivering outstanding customer experiences.
“Congratulations to all Choice brokers for continuing to raise the bar – we are immensely proud,” he concluded.
