Why white label loans are great for brokers and customers

Choice Broker Suzie Rankine has 15 years’ experience in the mortgage broking industry. The owner of a small brokerage Diamond Finance Geelong, Suzie works across residential and commercial lending with a specialisation in development and construction. Suzie took the time to chat to us about why she uses ChoiceLend and how it helps her customers.

For those unfamiliar, ChoiceLend is a white-label loan option available through Choice. White-label loans are a similar concept to home-branded products found in supermarket aisles and offer a simple, high-value loan solution. White label loans deliver many of the same great features as bank-branded home loans but are available exclusively through the broker channel.

 

Q: What do you like most about being a mortgage broker?
A: I love being part of my clients’ journey and seeing their dreams realised.

Q: When did you start using ChoiceLend?
A: I’ve been in broking for 15 years – with a brief break for maternity leave a few years in. It was great to come back into the industry and have a product available exclusively through brokers! This really enhanced my product offering, and having previously felt like our options were dominated by larger lenders, or what was on our panel, it was really exciting to see a product that was just for brokers.

Q: What do you like most about ChoiceLend?
A: The major thing I like about ChoiceLend – in addition to the really competitive rates – is that it really brings the service element back for the client. Post-settlement, I have access to my customers’ loan details on their behalf, and the ability to follow-up on any requests for them. With other loans, the customer may have to go via the bank and work with a range of different employees to get something done. I really enjoy saving my customers their valuable time, and this helps me build a long-term relationship with them. Q: What is the major benefit for your customers?

I consistently receive really positive feedback from my brokers on this service, with my customers saying this is always really helpful.
